Insurance for Non-B (not teaching)

Hey,

my travel insurance is about to run out and before I renew it I was wondering about changing the insurance/companies or if I'm already covered with the workpermit.

My current insurance is a travel insurance with https://www.truetraveller.com and costs around 15000THB/year but I'm barely travelling anymore as I was working most of the times and then do a visa-run with a one week "holiday" in KL or some other big cities. So it might be better to switch to an expat health insurance?

On here https://www.thaihealth.co.th/2012/product_wealthy_eng.php it would cost around 7000THB/year or even less if u choose a different product (e.g. "maxi healthy" or "simply healthy"). Anyone has any experience with this?

In the last 7 years I only went two times to a doctor/hospital when I was really sick or needed stitches. Normally I would just go to a pharmacy and they will prescribe me with some antibiotics if needed. So it's mainly an insurance if an accident happens I guess.

Do a lot of the expats (~30 yrs old) out here still have travel insurance or moved to an health insurance?

Regards
