Fair is fair.

If she got 2000 thb, she should have given 200 thb to her son-in-law. And when or if she got the remaining 3000 thb, she should give him 300 thb.

 

Right now, nobody gets anything - except a huge loss of face.

Lucky it was only 5K though don't get me wrong for some people that is a lot but better than being owed  660,000 and then state it was a gift or given money back to an Niece!!! and lying through their teeth and wonder why no speak to them DISGUSTING  but very common.
