Police in Rayong have announced the arrests of three further people on warrants bringing to six suspects in the removal of a Government Savings Bank ATM machine in March.

Naret, 54, and Sompong, 40, were arrested in Chachoengsao and Chawanon, 37, was picked up in Chanthaburi.

A pick-up was caught on CCTV removing the machine from outside a building supply store in the Khao Chamao area on March 13th.

The gang members have been taken on a reenactment of the crime that included burying the machine in a fruit orchard near the home of one of the suspects in Chanthaburi in Thailand's east.

Naret's son who is 17 turned against his father saying he was forced into committing the crime. He is helping police with the prosecution.

The gang got 300,000 baht from the ATM and shared the loot equally.

The pick-up used was modified in an attempt to put police off the scent.

The 17 year young man will have a difficult life around his father, or father-in-law (as the original thai article says), when Mr Nares will be released in some years.

'arrest Mr. New, aged 17, the son-in-law of Mr Nares'

They equally got 50,000 each so why snitch on the others?  Guilt?

Time to move to another part of the country, for the 17 year young man.

He turned against his dad after arrested not before. So he doesn't deserve any credit.

Perhaps Brazil. It worked for Ronnie Biggs.
