Phetchaburi has warned against drinking alcohol in public places and banned the gathering of people for the purpose after the province lifted the ban on sales of alcoholic beverages.

Phetchaburi Governor Kobchai Boonyaorana on Tuesday (May 12) called for strict enforcement after allowing some shops to sell alcoholic beverage but barring drinking at restaurants or at gatherings.

Despite the controls and regularly raising awareness on the Covid-19 campaign, he remained concerned as Phetchaburi has flea markets every day. He urged people to maintain a distance.

He came from Phuket....would have thought he's be a little bit smart....but no!

No drinking in restaurants or gatherings....so going to a restaurant and meeting with people seems to be fine....but do not drink!
