Chiang Mai Zoo Although perhaps best known for its pandas the zoo offers far more than this, and is easily the best zoo in Thailand. Located in the city centre it is explored best in your car given its vast size. It is home to hippos, monkeys, lions, kangaroos and much more. Well worth a visit.
