webfact Posted May 19, 2020 Share Posted May 19, 2020 Police make quick arrest of Chiang Saen bank raid suspect Picture: Sanook Police in Chiang Rai have arrested a 33 year old man who they say was one of two who robbed the Bangkok Bank in Chiang Saen of just over a million baht. Sitthichoke vehemently denies involvement. He was arrested in a Honda City after allegedly trying to flee across the border at Mae Sai before turning back to his home town of Sridonmoon. Two people were seen stealing 1,050,000 outside the bank before fleeing on a motorcycle. Police believe evidence of a helmet dumped behind an agricultural cooperative where the suspect used to work before he was sacked will prove his guilt. Investigations continue.
