Now this is where a smartphone comes in handy.  Thai hotel receptionists should get themselves a smartphone and wait.  Two or three year subscriptions to favourite apps should see them good for short-term.

what about checking into hotels?

Many hotels are and were open in bkk, unlike Hua Hin which just opened them now. But when I go bkk i dont stay in tourist areas, it might be different there. There is no quarantine when returning to Hua Hin, they dont even check.

I jogged home double time

Going there naked is probably why she asked for you to wear your mask as that is the only way she could identify you.  Did you go naked on the way home as well?

'nuf sed.

i just want to get the hell out of this town.

i don't care if I have to walk naked to Bangkok just get me out of here.

You were very fortunate to be in HH. It had one of the lower infection rates. The community remained well ordered and calm. Because of its relatively well educated and wealthy population combined with mature younger demographic and what I term, mostly responsible  elderly farang population,  it was one of the  best places to be located. Certainly better than quarantine island aka Phuket. You are certainly still better in HH than  in much of the USA or EU

Isn't that the same Province where they allowed you to go to the beach, but not to swim...?

June is the start of jellyfish season in Huahin.  If you’ve ever seen the massive blobs strewn along the beach there, you wouldn’t want to go in the water anyways. ????

Now just waiting for the cashflow to dry up on a permanent basis more like.  I do feel the employees and indeed the owners but no one saw this coming.
