Here's a chance for those Forbes-listed Thai billionaires and the rest of the One Percenters to show how much they love their downtrodden fellow countrymen by funding food banks in Pattaya and other hard-hit tourist towns.

And why is the media largely ignoring the catastrophic impact of draconian lockdown measures on the lives of millions of jobless Thais with families to feed? Assumedly too ashamed, as they should be, to cover the growing humanitarian crisis their fear-mongering helped create.

You have to stop reading the Cold War press. Their suffering is just the same as everyone elses.

There is only 83M in the CPC. The other 1.3bn are just ordinary people.

there are a number of posters who are clearly in a USA vs. the rest of the world mindset, declaring individual persons and companies enemies solely because of their nationality, assuming they all actively support powers that compete with the USA. The cold war clearly hasn't ended, at least for some.

Don't hold your breath.  Many will be making plans to profit of the situation.
