Iran wouldn't need them anyway with thousands of missiles already aimed at Israel from Iran, Lebanon and Syria, if Israel attacked Iran. Not counting those aimed at US forces stationed just across the Gulf. I doubt anything will kick off, but you never know, if Trump starts clutching at straws giving Israel the nod to attack Iran to deflect from his re-election failure. Something happened a few years back, I'm sure it's in the news archives somewhere. Back when things were going hot and heavy in Syria, Russia got permission to launch missiles from the area north of Iran, fly over Iranian airspace to hit targets in Syria. Day one they launched a few missiles which reached Syria. Day two same. Day three, oops! The missiles hit somewhere in Iran, possibly a military facility. None of the parties involved cared much for talking about it. Putin is as mistrustful of Iran as anyone else. Perhaps on that day all this chatter about Iran nuke capability became moot. The, um, gall of this statement, aside from it being just another Friday in Iran, is that he knows certain entities, such as Saudi and Russia, will not engage in combat with Israel.
