Yes, it's just the big rollaboards that they are preventing from going in the cabin, and they'll put them in the hold at no extra cost even if you've used your regular hold allowance. That’s insane, I only ever arrived 1hr 30mins early for my 6 hr flights ! 4) No hand-luggage – I think they may mean, lap-top bags and handbags only (no one is going to be putting their lap tops, iPads etc in checked in baggage) 5) Thermal Screening and Covid-19 tests – that’s fine, excellent in fact. 6) Maintain Social Distancing: Impossible unless flights are only flying at 25% capacity (or less) which means they are unprofitable. I think in future we will just see things go back to normal with the FaceMask requirement and pre-flight Thermal Scanning and possibly Covid-19 checks. I assume no carryon reduces time and congestion going through security and stowing/retrieving overhead luggage onboard. I just want to share my information, maybe it can help somebody. Aircraft was fully packed, no distance between passengers. Face mask must be used. Hand luggage was allowed (even 3 pieces). Batteries in pockets (wear a jacket with many pockets). Laptop under shirt with part of laptop fastened under belt to secure it. (Did this once to avoid paying for exceeding carry-on weight allowance when the airline pulled out scales at the gate as we were boarding).
