webfact Posted May 25, 2020 Share Posted May 25, 2020 Novice monk falls onto railings at temple Sanook reported that a novice monk fell off the second floor of monks' quarters at the temple of Wat Chaichana Songkhram (Wat Tuek) around 10.30 pm last night. Ruam Katanyu rescue foundation attended the scene on Chakrawat Road after the young monk pierced his leg on railings. The railings were cut and the novice was handed over to the medical staff of Klang Hospital. It appears that the monk had leaned out for something and fell. The temple is well known and near the Chinatown district of Yaowarat in Bangkok.
