Caterpillars by the million cause Yasothon householder to consider moving!

Sanook reported on the case of a house owner in Yasothon in Thailand's north east who has been inundated by "tua bung" a kind of furry black caterpillar or worm.

Samang said she had never seen the like of it in all her 66 years.

She took a broom to the critters at first but still the army of creatures kept coming. There was a million of them, she claimed.

So she called the local pest eradication department who came to spray.

That did no good either and now members of her family want to move out.

The infestation began on Friday and has continued for a fourth day.

The only saving grace was that there were no young children in the house who might be in danger, she told the media.

Nothing that a few chickens or ducks could have handled with ease and speed...manna from heaven for them...

Yup, with Madam's chooks, guinea fowl and geese we rarely see a creepy crawly (guineas will deal with snakes too).

We used to get zillions of baby millipedes, not seen one in years now.
