Meanwhile the rest of the world who has had infections are opening their countries again and stopping their control measures to allow people their freedoms again. Thailand though seems to be using this state of emergency as an excuse to control the population and prevent students from rioting against the government which is being planned as I have read previously. We don't need a state 9f emergency anymore. Just need life to go back to semi normality with some restrictions on social distancing and mask wearing. 8 2
Popular Post M71
There is no such thing as Covid-19 it's just a strain of seasonal flu as shown by all of the independent doctors and virologists speaking out over the last month. The figures point to it being even less dangerous than common flu with less deaths than a common seasonal flu around the world. We have all been fooled folks, it's not a complete hoax but it sure has been blown waaaay out of proportion - ask yourself, are we going to do this again when next year's seasonal flu comes around ?? Are people really that stupid ? Use your grey cells. Wonder what this is really all about - anyone have any ideas? BobbyL
To a certain extent the decision is correct. However, we HAVE to begin resuming normal life and cannot hide away from this virus.

Define fared better? Unemployment and bad economy kills too... https://apnews.com/ea3be7fb82bf4bec90a00d75957f833b According to studies (not only this one) unemployment reduces life expectancy by years. The stress, anxiety, mental health issues, suicide, addiction etc that comes with it. Also, what is the actual plan for covid here? Are we gonna be locked down until we get herd immunity? (We are far from it) Are we gonna be locked down until the virus is eradicated? (Not happening) are we staying locked down until there is vaccine? (Probably a year away if ever.. making vaccines is not easy) I think in hindsight Sweden made the right decision in not destroying the economy and letting this slightly worse than the common flu virus do it's thing. Moreover, most people in other countries are also in lockdown and as europe is opening up we are healthy and ready to travel and work. All those old dinosaurs have no clue about daily life. And like always, the most important thing is to not lose their faces. What about the thousands of guys wanting to return to their families in TH? Holding valid visa/marriage certificates Most of them are desperate and would be happy to pay 50k THB for a 2 weeks hotel quarantine to just get back. There are still daily empty flights from Europe. Or why they can`t admit that it was a fault to keep the schools closed until 1st of July. All those poor kids in state schools are lost. It`s impossible to catch up 4 months of stuff and e-learning has 0 effect in this country. It`s like always in TH. Stick to the rules, even they make 0 sense. About the schools ....they seem to be afraid the young generation would become learning to think....and could even start reading and understand why the French revolution ever happened........ They really are scared from that student mouvement of Thanatorn seems Edited May 27, 2020 by david555 6

Popular Post apetryxx
What is not mentioned in the reasoning for the low infection rate here is the heat. One doesn’t need to be a brain surgeon to figure this out, viruses such as the Covid strain don’t do well in the heat and die off quickly. All this chest puffing by the junta about the great job they’re doing is so much nonsense—thank Mother Nature.

Popular Post scandream
Should someone explain to me the logic behind the decision to extend the emergency ordinance to June 30th, but to consider reducing the curfew. What good is the possibility of going out until midnight if you have no way to sit on the beach with friends or have a drink somewhere without restriction? This new decision is absolutely not understandable! 4
