JTXR
If I recall rightly, for the transferring money to Thailand method, you need a letter from Bangkok Bank that it's your account and it has such and such a balance, plus you need a statement of the last 12 months showing monthly international transfers of at least 65K baht with the FTT transaction code. I think I also recall that local branches (mine is in a shopping mall) can only give statements for the last 6 months, and that to get a 12-month statement you need to go to the Bangkok Bank headquarters branch. Is all of that correct?
ubonjoe
You can request a one year bank statement at any Bangkok Bank branch. It will take about a week to get it. Some offices may also want proof of the source of your income. Some also want a letter that shows all of your transfers to confirm they came from abroad. JTXR
My TI office is CW. I have no problem going to the main branch to get the 12-month statement and letter. I guess my question was just how many separate documents they will want. I think your reply covers it.
