Dress in Gucci collection looks just like Thai formal wear - the only difference is the price!

Daily News reported that amusing comment was rife online after fashion house Gucci announced their new collection. 

 

It contained a tunic and skirt that was the spitting image of Thai formal wear. 

 

Netizens were busy putting the two side by side for comparison.

The only real difference, they said, was the price - the Gucci outfit sells for nearly $5000 or about 160,000 baht. 

 

It resembled an outfit Thai women would wear to go and make merit at a temple, suggested many.

The shirt of that dress also looks a bit like my $5 t-shirt: the only difference therefore is the price.

The skirt looks like a piece of cloth wrapped around like a towel... my towels costs about $8 a piece, the only difference is therefore the price.

Nice but I prefer the  ' Mir Song ' brand.  Still stylish but a bit less pretentious.
