Pattaya: Deckchairs will open at weekend - just one problem: There are NO tourists!

I guess the 3 days a week for cleaning and regenerating will be well accepted by

tourists who have not yet come to Thailand. NOT!   A few more brain cells need

to be used, or consult with TAT to see their opinions.

The "old, dead palm trees" in Jomtien are the ones they planted last year. Already about 25% have been cut down. Thai landscape planning at its best!

I believe that the "Nong Nuch" tropical gardens  plants the trees  and they have done  quite well at the

RHS Chelsea flower show over the years.

what difference does make to use half capacity, if there is no tourists anyhow?

on the other hand, apart from the palm trees, it woudl be about time to replace these old chairs also to beautify the beach.

they arent appealing in their dated, unmaintained, 40+ years old look.
