Actually it was several years late, having been delayed as discussed ad nausium. No one could have foreseen the virus & nor would it have given the 🌏🌎🌍 a miss if 🇬🇧 was still shackled to the 🇪🇺 despite the constant balderdash to the contrary.

Well, the virus is here and decimating economies so if the UK still insists on leaving with no deal at the end of the year, it just confirms the government's utter foolishness.

Not so fast.

You need to know what’s in it for Johnson, Rees-Mogg and their chums/financial backers before you can say whether or not they are being ‘foolish’.

I suspect lashings of self interest are at play, and not, I add, any self interest of the general public.

doesnt make any difference to voters at the next election who wont vote laibour in again

5 years is plenty of time to forget about covid despite starmers whining about numerous matters...

many countries face the same complaints about the govments in power due to hindsight..

''they sould have done this they should have done that'' ,like sweden

theres some spikes in areas where ethinic voters live and thyeyre  more at risk esp baldies

So the latest twaddle they'd have us believe is that the virus only surfaced after December's landslide?

Why not, it sends a clear message to the traffickers. Australia towed them back out to the sea and now they don't have a problem.

The traffickers don't care what happens to the migrants once they've had their money. They wouldn't send them off into the busiest shipping lane in the world in small, overcrowded inflatables if they did.

Whatever the rights and wrongs, successes and failures of Operation Sovereign Borders, the Australian government never used your final solution of sinking the boats and leaving the occupants to drown.

Surprisingly it wasn't Boris that suggested downing some disinfectant to cure the virus but they have saved a fortune in pension payments as Dominic would know very well🤔

Correct ,  less pension payments , as advised by Dominic to our Prime Minister .

         Win Win ..
