Yeah. He sounds like a confused man. I have a number of friends who I would consider racist. Good guys. But, a shortcoming, for sure. They genuinely seem to hate black people. From any country. Yet, they are married to Thai women. I have often asked how they reconcile that. Black, yellow, red. All minorities, in your nation, right? They tend to give me this blank stare, or some nonsense about her being light skinned, or some other psycho babble dribble. Racism is racism, from my point of view. Either you are tolerant or you are not. Many white people are not.

Maybe its nothing to do with skin colour, maybe its about behavior

I'm glad I'm not in the UK now.

Too much conformity to keep up with. Now you have to kneel outside your house whilst clapping at the same time  keeping 2 meters away from everyone and practice incest when you go indoors. Hard to keep track of it all.

No change there then

Going a bit off topic, but then it is relevant to your post........

America's fear of communism has led it into several wars, many diplomatic scuffles and lots of lost lives, when it didn't need to be that way.

The reason being is that ideals like communism need fertile ground on which to prosper, and when I say communism, I do not mean what a lot of people here refer to as "lefties/socialists". So there is no reason whatsoever why a country like America or any other successful capitalist country need fear communism, because there is no basis or need for it.

By all means look at putting in place socialist programs to help the poor and disenfranchised, but along the same lines, help them to help themselves.

For whatever reason, more black folk in America are killed at the hands of the police, than any other race, and many times in very questionable circumstances and that shows a distinctive trend going back decades, even centuries, but it won't be fixed unless it is addressed by leaders who want to address it, and that does not include the current moron in charge.

Great song of solidarity and the people's revolution.

Yes.. it was necessary for Marxist-Leninism/Communism to kill 100 million people or so in camps and executions during the 20th century.  But they were all enemies of the people. The camps and executions are only a temporary thing and should last less than 100 years. The camps and executions are only necessary until we get everyone re-educated.   At that point we will be able to close the camps and end the executions, and a new world of peace and brotherhood will be with us, and capitalism and oppression will be ended.  We will all be equal in a wonderful utopia.

Perhaps you should have read about how the black actors told him it was necessary.

Perhaps if he was so uncomfortable with the role he should have made a stand and refused to do it or perhaps he donated all the money he made from it to black lives matter?

Soon, oppressive bourgeois capitalism will be confined to the dustbins of history were it belongs. The downtrodden proletariat will take possession of all the means of production and the capitalists will be disposed of.

Brother number one, Pol Pot, twisted socialism/Marxism into something dark. He wasn’t building real socialism. It was necessary to stop the communist Khmer Rouge. That’s one of the reasons that the communist comrades in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam invaded Cambodia. It is why we ended up with socialist communists fighting socialist communists.

It’s happened before with border skirmish fighting between the comrades in China and Vietnam and further back border clashes between the comrades in Communist China and the communist U.S.S.R.

It will take a long time to build the great United communist world of the working proletariat.

It’s long hard work. We must accept the fact that there will be a price to pay.

You said: “For whatever reason, more black folk in America are killed at the hands of police than any other race...”

Uh.... not in recent years. More whites shot by cops for many years now.

Uhmmm... just to fill you in... for every black killed at the hands of police in the U.S.... about 270 blacks are murdered by other blacks.

And nobody says diddly squat. There’s silence.

All the people bending a knee and screaming about George Floyd don’t seem to give a damn if it’s blacks being murdered by other blacks.

Only a relatively few sincere peaceful marchers are actually truly upset about George Floyd’s killing by those four crazy cops. I can understand and sympathize with them. They are honest peaceful protestors.

But nobody seems to be upset about the retired black police captain and grandfather who was shot multiple times by black looters and bled out on the sidewalk outside his friend’s store. Not one march or protest in his memory.

All these riots and violent vandalizing and burning and looting and beatings and at least ten killings during these riots? They’re not really about George Floyd and those four killer cops.

The riots, vandalizing, burning, looting and beatings and killings are about something else. The death of George Floyd is merely a smokescreen for another goal entirely.

And just to help you along a little bit, this thread is about disenfranchisement of black people and much of it deals with the police brutality in handling black people.

The number of police killings in the US disproportionately affects African Americans. Despite only making up 13 percent of the US population, Black Americans are two-and-a-half times as likely as white Americans to be killed by the police.

And as far back as 25 years ago, Rodney King, a black man, was dragged out of his truck and savagely beaten by four police officers, for no apparent reason. The video was quite clear that the beating was savage and unprovoked, yet the policemen responsible were acquitted of any crime.

Maybe now you see what the protests are about, something which America should not be proud of, but which it is famous for (or should I say infamous).

Horrible.... kinda makes you wonder what’s in the minds of a million people a year coming into the horrible U.S. and the millions and millions of people around the world who wish and dream about living in such a terrible country. 555555????

Say what you wish.... still there is silence about the approximately 270 blacks murdered by other blacks in the streets for each 1 black killed by cops.

Waiting for the protests and riots about that!

Not going to hold my breath comrade.

So sad that you can't seem to understand what the thread is about, but then again that would be a typical trump supporter, but I will help you out here, it is about racism and the disenfranchisement of black people – – hope you can pick up on that.

And the use of the word "comrade" just goes to show how far the political divide has come now that this clown is in office. Apparently someone is a commie (comrade) if they don't agree with trump supporters and their right wing views, no balance, no rationale, no reasoning and a step away from fascists.

That the divide is so great now is due to the likes of the buffoon in charge and the simple minded folk who follow him unfortunately.

Perhaps what is in the minds of the "millions of people a year coming into the horrible US" is the fact that even though trump has said that they should be sent back to the "sh1tholes" they came from, they can find a better one, run by an idiot?

So sad that you can’t understand that Trump has got nothing to do with those cops that murdered that black. You’re just trying to cover for others. Trump brought all kinds of jobs to blacks. Under Trump black unemployment in the U.S. dropped to the lowest level in U.S. history.

Black owned jobs and businesses at record heights.

You can’t blame Trump for the protests, riots and looting and black on black murder. But I guess you will of course try to do just that. Because you hate the truth.

Here’s another truth... the Black Lives Matter movement emerged under a BLACK President, and a BLACK Attorney General.

Dr. Cornel West, a BLACK American philosopher, Harvard University professor, political activist, social critic, author and public intellectual traces the present troubles to failures of the Obama administration and DEMOCRAT controlled cities and police departments and states.

But go ahead...ignore that fact and BLAME TRUMP !

And the truth is all the horrible conditions are caused in cities and states that have been under DEMOCRAT control for decades. The police departments with some bad cops have been the responsibility of DEMOCRAT mayors and city councils and state governors for DECADES. Anti-capitalism and socialist indoctrination from Marxist teachers and professors has been going on in school classroom for decades.

But HEY..... go right ahead and blame Trump. Because Trump is slowing down the left’s efforts to turn the U.S. into a socialist/Marxist paradise.

Just ask A.O.C. and the “Squad”.

”Never Trump” “Not My President” “Impeach Trump”.  (Trump Derangement Syndrome) “Leftist/Socialist/Marxist Clenched Fist Salute” ✊????

“Power To The People” ...comrade.  ✊????
