I stayed recently at the Aiyaree in Jomtien near the statue. They had a simple buffet for 100b. Cooked egg meal, toast salad, fruit, coffee machine. Closed 10am.

That is a la carte, not buffet. O Gara's in Tara Court is by far the best brekky in Jomtien, for me anyway.

Personally I do not like buffet breakfast scenes, as the food items are almost always stone cold or at best lukewarm. Yesterday I decided to give The Queen Vic on Soi 6 a try, and was very pleasantly surprised. For an English Breakfast there was loads of food, piping hot, and a coffee. A few places in the Buakhao area had been tried, some were reasonable but all could have been much hotter. It was the first time ever in the Queen Vic, and I am not a shareholder, but I will be back 🙂

I wouldn’t go near one especially when China  arrives

I take it you won't be sitting in the back seat of taxis or riding the airport train then.:cheesy:
