This was widely reported in the Thai press and in Thaivisa translations. They have said that popcorn and drinks are fine so long as people clear up after themselves. They have stressed, however, that they want everyone wearing a mask when watching a movie. They have cited the fact that despite the social distancing measures now in place in theaters people are still in an enclosed space and run the risk of passing on coronavirus.
