Two of the 120 Thais who returned home on Friday (June 6) from India were found to have high fever and rushed to hospital, Suvarnabhumi Airport deputy director Kittipong Kittikachorn said.

“The 120 Thais departed from Mumbai on Air India Flight AI 340 and arrived at the airport at 4.20pm,” Kittipong said. “Preliminary screening found that two passengers had high fever and they were rushed to hospital.”

The rest 188 passengers were transported to the government’s facilities in Chonburi province to complete the mandatory 14-day quarantine.

India is one of the current hot spots of the Covid-19 outbreak in Asia, with more than 220,000 confirmed cases and over 6,300 deaths.

That must be an all-time record ! Maybe the India Tourist Board could use that figure in their "Come visit India" campaign ???? One friend went to India and came back with a stomach virus that took a year to cure, another, Good old Jerry Bryant of Dang,s Hot Dog fame, went there for a short holiday to visit his son at school there, returned to Pattaya and died ????
