Along with beaches in Pattaya, popular island was opened on Monday to day trippers. Hotels there are still shut. The media said that tourists were cooperating by wearing masks and social distancing, keeping one to two meters apart. They went with a banner headline on their main picture: Kohlarn New Normal. "Most Thais" do not favor an island as a tourist destination, since they prefer to go somewhere whereas they can access easily by car. Anything what seems to involve more than 100 meters of walking seems to be too much for most of them. I don't say everybody. Masks absolutely stifle your breathing in warm weather. I refuse to wear one for health reasons.
