papa planning ride up north.

Trip progessing nicely.

Riding every day.

Some drizzles, but have yet to don rain gear.

Rode Nan area several days

but problem starting Exciter persisted.

Bike would turn over under e-starter

but not fire.

Would start w/ kick start tho.

Confusing.  Anywho,

rode back to CM and changed the bike at Mango

for a MSlaz.

Same engine but poorer performance,

do to heavier build I guess.

MSlaz has real difficulty over 100kpm.

More later ... .

do you still have your Click 150 for sale, how much are you asking for, does it has 2 remote keyless or just one (heard honda provides 1)  what happen if you loose it, how to re-start the scooter,

Still have it, yes, one key fob.

You get a set of numbers that you can tap in using the dash function to start the bike.

To be honest, I put the fob on a long key ring that attaches to the belt loop on my trousers, and the fob just stays in my pocket all day. I only remove it, when I come home. I can't see how I could lose it.

Price is 49000 baht. 10,000 km's with full Honda service. I think March or April 2019. Drive it to work and back. ????

I'm surprised with your MSlaz performance,  Thai kids always race me on them with my Forza, I think they get passed 100kph, but then again they weight like 45kg, I have a feeling you are a bit more....????

45 x 2 +

5 5

The Exciter has same engine, could hit 120.

Maybe some speedo discrepancies, dunno.

Maybe this particular MSlaz was doggy.?

On papa's ceeber150 have seen 152.

Cruise 130 when needed.

Could be weight. Same identical bike of mine and a Thai kid can go faster.

So today is papa's last day up north.

Had my fix of tasty mountain roads for a while.

Flying back to BKK thence Patts mañana.

I miss my dirt bikes.

Here is a letter written to friend in merca.

Finished 16 days of riding in Thailand &
& now back in my box in Patty.
Trip was three-oh,
Rainy season, but never donned my rain suit.
Rode in shorts, kneepads, big buckle boots.
Elbow & shoulder pro. Gloves.
One of those helmets that chin-piece flips up.
They have an unbelievable plethora of well-surfaced,
steep and twitshy roads here;
blows my mind.
& traffic was way low.
I didn’t crash.
Almost,
once,
in the parking garage.

Thai and tribal people all super nice + hospitable.
Costs:
R/T flight BKK -Chiangmai $200+
Taxi R/T $100
Rent Yamaha 150cc $120
Rooms w/ aircon under 20.
[x 17                          $340]
1000USD goes far.
In CM the bars are sorta open.
No foreign tourists.
Yucked it up w/ several sweeties
last nite.
Two large beers, toasted ... ..

Have been watching CB Media on Youtube. He is doing the same Mae Hong Son loop ride. He rented an Aerox 155 which he says doesn't have the power for the hills. Sounds like a bigger bike would be more enjoyable.

Yes saw his vlog.

Don't remember the part where he indicated a bigger cc bike would be better.

Actually, just the opposite.

Go to 10.48 on the 1st  video. He says "my bike is struggling, i definitely need more than 155cc".

Right.

Problem is the small auto-scooter configuration.

No engine braking.

No grunt on super tight up-bends.

Not recommended for beginners in the mountains.

A bike with a hand-clutch that you shift works fine.

He should have got a CB150.

Even a 125 Wave be better than Aerox

in the mountains.

CB should make it unscathed.

Not much traffic out.

Comical guy.
