Could anybody suggest a decent quality guest house in Chiang rai centre, somewhere next to the bars and nightlife. Budget:1000 baht per night.

there are plenty of guest houses/hotels close to the bars/night life in chaingrai ,,if you want to spend 1,000baht a night you might get the wangcome or the wiang inn, then you have the golden triangle inn, the fairly new diamond park hotel,the nim see seng, i would think 500--800baht then we have a couple of guest houses on jetroyd road, the tourist inn, banbunden guest house and the ban bua all under 500 baht and all within walking distance of the nightlife

Is the Diamond Park hotel the one on the main road going south out of town about Bt500 per night? Anyone have their tel no or email address?
