Biden says military would help oust Trump if he loses election but refuses to leave

Didn't read it. Heard it from a government spokesperson on the radio. Don't ask me for a link.

She didn't say masks are not useful, she said that someone wearing one was MORE LIKELY to infect themselves from fiddling around with a mask with fingers contaminated with the virus from surfaces they had been touching. Given no one wears goggles that makes sense to me

I said before that I was no longer responding to this deflection on this thread so that's really the last time.

Right....

You heard it somewhere from someone, but you can't remember where or who, but it confirms what you want to believe, so....

As credible as every "heard in a bar" story.

uncovered no evidence to support claims of widespread voter fraud,

does not mean no voter fraud. Is it your contention that voter fraud is OK as long as not "widespread"?

Anyway, this is nothing to do with the OP so that's my last on this deflection.

You want to disenfranchise voters because you think there might be a problem?

Well if that's fair game, let's not let anyone who has a residence in more than one state vote until they have proven that they are only registered to vote in one location.  There is evidence of a small number of people voting in more than one state https://www.desmoinesregister.com/story/news/politics/2019/12/27/iowa-double-voting-election-fraud-2018-midterms-secretary-of-state-misconduct-felony-paul-pate-state/2756753001/  and high level muckety mucks registered to vote in more than one state   https://www.nytimes.com/2017/01/27/us/politics/trump-cabinet-family-voter-registration.html .

Granted I've presented no proof that this is a big problem, but the potential is there.   And granted this will be an inconvenience for wealthy people who have multiple residences, but not an insurmountable problem.  Certainly not as great an inconvenience as getting a copy of a birth certificate from a time that predates computer records, or proof that one's mother changed her children's names following a divorce to explain why the name on the birth certificate doesn't match the name of the person registering to vote.

You really open the floodgates when you decide you want to enact laws to prevent the possibility of a crime.

A post using an offensive "cult follower" troll comment has been removed.  Continue to use that term in reference to Trump supporters and a warning will be coming.

I think the gist of this article - namely that the military would help out Trump - might be a moot point. Republicans are beginning to suspect that Trump might drop out of the race given that his polling numbers are so poor and getting poorer. In Texas polls show it's a virtual tie. Same in Missouri. Don't think Trump has much appetite for the electoral humiliation that seems to be coming.

Rough polling stretch has GOP operatives asking: Could Trump drop out?

"A stretch of lackluster polling for President Trump has some Republican operatives nervous about the president’s reelection prospects in November – with some even floating the possibility for the first time that Trump could drop out if his poll numbers don’t rebound.

“It’s too early, but if the polls continue to worsen, you can see a scenario where he drops out,” one GOP operative who asked to remain anonymous told Fox News."

Everything is a trade off.

Seems like you are happy with using ID to stamp out a small problem with the consequence of a much larger level of voting disenfranchisement - usually of poorer people.

Ah, another one who thinks poor (mostly black) people are too dumb to get an ID.

When do you plan to provide a credible risk of election fraud?

Something based on evidence, not your imagination.

I've presented many links to various types of election fraud. Here is yet another for you to deny or try to disqualify.

You've tried this one on before. What does it have to do with voter ID? In fact, as the article explicitly notes, no fraudulent ballots even featured in this case.

Well yes, many countries require voter ID. I'm not sure why so many people are shocked by this.

And I don't recall calling any inanimate object evil. That is a very strange declaration you have made.

And most of those countries issue compulsory national identity cards that every adult citizen must have. You want that for the USA?

You should read the post I responded to. He mentioned "election fraud" specifically. I was simply giving him what he wanted. Nice try.

Nice try with a move of the goal post. Rejected. States already have IDs. Even black people are able to get them. Contrary to what the party of the KKK, slavery and Jim Crow thinks, black people are equal and smart enough to get ID cards.

As stated previously, I was responding to a post that mentioned "election fraud". But here, you wanted voter fraud, here it is. And it's in conjunction with vote by mail.

Yeah, the whole election will most likely hang on 4 people committing voter fraud.

There is by the way another case of voter fraud, of which the criminal hasn't been charged yet, probably because he is President of the United States.

I asked for voter ID fraud. You know, the in-person kind that you claim needs a photo ID.
