You must not have tried the small variety of Thai Bananas,Gluay Khai,

only available during the rainy season, they are the only one I eat,

they remind me of the Canary Island bananas you used to get in UK,

until the EU stopped the import as they did not confirm to their standards

of what a banana should look like, they were small bananas that had fantastic

taste.

You do know what your writing is a lie the EU never stopped import at all. Do your research own research don't be a sheep. They only classified it different nothing more no ban at all.

Well am I right that they can only be exported to Spain ?,

As in England we stopped importing them.

Not been a sheep I read up on it and it seems to be  in the last 7 years

Aldi and other supermarkets have started to import them,Ias I had not

been to UK/EU for 30 odd years,i did not know that, only that they were

no longer imported in to UK then

I read up on the myth, it was only that those bananas got an other classification. It was not banned at all. Not sure why the UK stopped importing. I just read up on the myth as I was curious as it sounded so crazy. I found a link in an UK newspaper that it was a myth (like so many others) used for Brexit.

I wanted a cheese pizza without the double cheese... although I’m a cheese lover doesn’t work for me. Tried ordering single cheese nope we don’t have it,... I gave up and ordered veggie which was good...

Yes that's the one. Seen it often and have been tempted to buy, luckily I have not bought it.

Come on, ladies and gents, the better American cheeses such as Colby-Jack and the famous Wisconsin cheeses (the ones that are fresh, not prepackaged in individually wrapped slices) are simply not exported to Asia.

Can't beat Dole and Del Monte (US companies') bananas, imported from Central America. Tangy when not overripe.

I found the Makro home brand frozen  cheddar cheese Aro for 320 baht or so very tasty. Use it for grilled cheese  or pasta / lasagna.

Cant go wrong for that price otherwise add a bit of extra salt and some pepper.

I like the Aro 1kg, perfectly ok, we are in Thailand after all. The cheesemongers on here won't like it though.

One downside, i started eating more cheese and put 3KG weight on so I'm having a break, it's not that good for you really
