Following continuous heavy rain, part of the road at KM32-34 and KM 36-37 had been washed away by forest run-off. There are roadworks in the area. Picture: Daily News It is now passable again, said Daily News, who reported that the Chiang Mai governor had ordered immediate action for one of Chiang Mai's arteries. Damage from storms has been reported across the north and park officials at Doi Inthanon are keeping an eye on levels at many waterfalls there. They are upgrading the road & building proper bridges. The ongoing roadworks might have contributed to the washout during heavy rains. All will be good once finished.
