Registration for three domestic tourism stimulus packages – Kum Lang Jai (Encouragement), Rao Pai Tiew Gun (Let’s travel together), and Tiew Pan Suk (Trips to share happiness) – has been postponed from July 1 to July 13.

The packages will subsidise up to 40 per cent of Thai holidaymakers’ domestic travel, accommodation and other costs, and are being funded with a government budget of Bt22.4 billion.

The committee on projects under the loan for economic recovery will send the stimulus measures for Cabinet consideration on Saturday (June 30) and expects the registration to open from July 13.

Meanwhile, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) on June 26-19 discussed details of the measures with hotel operators, who can register to take part in the stimulus schemes from around July 13 at www.เที่ยวปันสุข.

Not disagreeing Richard for the majority of Thais; however I presume that if a Thai national travels with their farang partner then the incentive is still valid.  In which case I'm certainly considering the offer. Except I've been watching this for weeks awaiting details and conditions, and  it's not been a case of shifting goal posts, more a case of no goalposts whatsoever.
