colinneil Posted June 30, 2020 Share Posted June 30, 2020 On monday we had a serious storm, only lasted 5 minutes, but did a bit of local damage. My computer was on my bed, i was preparing dinner, when it suddenly started, hells bells, the wind was blowing like crazy. Bedroom window blown in, time i got there my computer was soaked, bed soaked, what a mess. Well my computer after drying it would not open. So yesterday my wife went and got me a new one, got into most sites no problem, but facebook will not accept my password, and yes it was the correct password, same 1 i use for Thai visa, g mail etc. Can anybody help me, anybody know how i can get in? They also see it as you are still logged in from the old device. This they do for safety and if as @tonray say, you are logged into the same account in mobile phone, then you can find the devices you are logged in at in your Facebook setting. See to that you get logged out of the old device. After that you will probably be able to log in from the new one. You will also be able to change your password from the mobile, as well as set up trusted devices. However, if that not works. NanLaew Posted July 1, 2020 Share Posted July 1, 2020 Once the OP gets reconnected, I suggest that he get into the habit of logging out of any apps and programs like FB and gmail rather than just closing the browser or tab. I hope the storm damage has been resolved - I blame global warming for increased harmful weather patterns. As for kindle, I've found it easier to use once I got used to it. How the hell that happened is beyond me, only 6 years since windows were fitted, sliding ali windows, not old wooden windows. When our house was but 6 months old, opened one of the sliding windows and it fell out and smashed. I wasn't even surprised. For overall quality, its like living in a canvas Wendy House. My wife and I have a bet as to which will disintegrate first, the house or me. I think the house and I may well win. She had to put the window from the inside then go outside and jiggle it about to get in back. Mods you can close this now got the info, got the problem sorted.
