Royal Thai Police deputy spokesman Col Krissana Phattanacharoen said that the national police headquarters in Bangkok were notified of the raids on the two gambling dens, one in Phuket Town and another in Srisoonthorn, on Tuesday (June 30) that netted 87 people for illegal gambling. Is anyone even remotely surprised? Virtually every gambling ‘den’ in the entire country pays the police....and the complicity (or "lack of action") of 'high ranking' police officers is precisely what they are paying for. The only real question is..."How much will these five 'high ranking' officers have to pay the Provincial Police Chief to make this pesky 'investigation' go away. But at the end of the day the Thai public can rest easy. If police anywhere in the country happen to find a gambling establishment that refuses to pay....they’ll be sure to shut it down. Popular Post colinneil
Of course senior police failed to act, no way are they going to take action against gambling dens that they either control or get BIG fat envelopes from.
