PHUKET: Public health officials in Patong have released the full list of official regulations that pubs, bars and other entertainment venues in Phuket must comply with. Failure to do so will result in stern action, and the venue may be shut down.

The full list comprises 18 separate rules specifically set out for entertainment venues in an order which came into effect on Wednesday (July 1), allowing pubs and bars to open, explained Sirawat Kriangkrai, of Patong Municipality’s Department of Public Health and Environment’s Sanitation Division.

Mr Sirawat provided the list to The Phuket News late yesterday (July 2).

It will only be a problem once foreigners start going to these places. They will import the infections and spread them around.

Dirty foreigners again !! I will be pleased when the nice clean and tidy Chinese arrive

Chinese tourists you mean...

Any foreigner, and I am not being a snot about this.

All of New Zealand's 20+ new cases this month are due to travelers from outside the country. They  have been identified through the mandatory isolation requirements.  China's new cases are imports - travelers from Europe or the USA.  Canada is not publicizing the issue, but it has a problem with the thousands border crossers from the USA. There were 200,000 border crossings from the United States into Canada in the week of June 15-June 21, 2020.  About 75% are commercial truckers, and the others are individual travelers. The truckers are not subject to  14 day quarantines. A number of these people are infected with Covid19.

If Phuket quickly reopens to foreign tourists, infections will be imported from around the world.  There are people out there who do not care who they infect.  Here is an example of stupid people.

For your information, this disease originated from, and spread from, China.

The problems start once those big things that buzz & have 2 big wings start arriving & I am

not talking about the locusts

Going forward, without those 'big things' arriving, Thailand really will have problems.
