Police and consumer standards authorities armed with a warrant raided a house in the Kamphaeng Saen district of Nakhorn Pathom that revealed illegal activity and a cache of 50 million baht worth of illegal drugs for animals.

The drugs had been illegally advertised on "Dr Vet Farm Center" on Facebook and were available at the "Mor Ya Sat" (animal drugs' vet) shop.

They included Xylazine, a muscle relaxant or anesthesia drug used for animals like horses. It is commonly abused by people as a recreational drug or narcotic drug additive.

This substance was connected to an incident with a runner in a Nonthaburi park that prompted the sting and raid in Nakhon Pathom.

Behind the front of the legal shop police found a cache of non-registered drugs for use in the animal rearing business worth 50 million baht.

Some of the drugs are used for date rape, suggested Daily News.
