rooster59 Posted July 4, 2020 Share Posted July 4, 2020 BMTA to run over 22,000 bus trips a day during long weekend By THE NATION The Bangkok Mass Transit Authority (BMTA) has arranged buses to serve people travelling to bus terminals and airports during the long holiday weekend from July 4 to 7. BMTA director Surachai Iamwachirasakul said that around 22,500 bus trips a day will be run during this weekend, covering 129 routes in Bangkok and nearby areas. He said that buses running to interprovincial bus terminals and train station have been arranged to serve travellers who want to visit other provinces . The bus numbers are: Bangkok Bus Terminal (Chatuchak): 3, 16, 49, 77, 96, 134, 136, 138, 145, 509, 517 and 536 Southern Bus Terminal Bangkok (Sai Tai Mai): 66, 79, 511, 515, 516 and 556 Eastern Bus Terminal (Ekkamai): 2, 23, 25, 71, 72, 501, 508 and 511 Hua Lamphong Railway Station: 4, 7, 21, 25, 29, 34, 73, 75 and 501 Airport-route buses, such as A1 (Don Mueang Airport - Chatuchak BTS Station), A2 (Don Mueang Airport - Victory Monument), A3 (Don Mueang Airport - Lumpini Park) and A4 (Don Mueang Airport - Sanam Luang) are also serving passengers.
