I "snuck" in on March 18 on the no visa program, US citizen, and have been amnestied since. I want to go to the consulate in Savannakhet to get a Non O based on marriage to a Thai, but all we have managed so far is the TM 30. Possible to do a "change of status" when Ido not yet really have a visa, just an extension amnesty? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Either the borders will remain (effectively) closed and the amnesty will be extended, or there will be some arrangements put in place for those who need a new O/B visa or need to activate a new entry on a ME visa.
