Daily News reported on developments in the case of a 33 year old Russian woman who jumped from the third floor of a five story apartment building in Bang Lamung on Sunday.

Later police found an infant aged one year seven months battered to death in the toilet.

Pol Lt-Col Saneh Yotrungruang leading the investigation, interviewed Anna in Bangkok Pattaya hos[pital yesterday as she recovered from the fall.

She claimed that after smoking marihuana she had some kind of paranoia attack and heard what she thought was her husband's voice urging her to kill the child.

So she went to the infant's cot, cradled the child by holding her by the neck and feet and carried her to the bathroom.

There she smashed the child against the toilet three times until she was still. She then covered the body in a towel and the broken toilet.

After this she went to the balcony, opened the door and jumped in an attempt to kill herself.

The police said they find this account difficult to believe and have not ruled out a third party being involved.

For now Anna has been charged with murder and smoking weed.

July 17, 2014 -- An in-depth investigation has concluded that people who smoke marijuana are much more likely to have paranoia than people who don't use the drug.

The study also identifies psychological factors that can lead to feelings of paranoia in people exposed to the main psychoactive ingredient in marijuana, THC.

She could have just changed the sequence: jump first. Easy.
