Speedo1968 Posted July 7, 2020 Share Posted July 7, 2020 I VERY stupidly put a password on my printer and have forgotten it and misplaced the note I made of it. I found two possible passwords but neither work. At the time of purchase in Nov 2014 it was ideal for my needs, but it was found to have a major issue when printing a word document in that it would leave a double spacing at the bottom of a page. I overcame this by going back to an old layout from my previous printer and always using that as the template. The repair agent in Khon Kaen said it was an "unknown" issue and not fixable. It also caused problems when printing from the red ink cartridge in that it would not print if the printer was not 100% stable, the cartridge would shift slightly. The printer is an HP Officejet Pro 6830 e-All-in-One series; ( absolute <deleted> compared with my previous HP printers ). Any advice that may work would be grateful and yes my rubbish bin is big enough for it. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
