I live outside the town now, just one neighbour whose house backs onto mine, with no view. Besides, I'm not going to grow for wholesale market distribution! A few tomatoes, bananas and lettuce leaves each day is enough for my lean and bronzed, lithe body... ???? To comment on those who claim that the Globalists (whoever they may be) are out to subdue the masses, none of this affects me. I don't give a jot what goes on politically in the world, (as long as I'm not asked to leave my country where I now live). I can lead my own life in happy and splendid isolation. Popular Post crazykopite
It’s taught me that the Thai government is far worse than I ever imagined if it’s this bad with only 60 deaths what would of it been like if the place had turned out to be like Italy U.K. or America I dread to think we are months into it and there are 1,000s of Thais still trying to get home .

allanos
1. That there is a lot of militancy lying dormant in ordinarily good citizens, free-thinkers who have formed their own conclusions and don't toe the government line. Only time will show whether this has been a good thing, or a really stupid thing. 2. Science doesn't have the answers. 3. Politicians don't have the answers.

I have learned how people if told to jump on one leg then stand on their heads and spit to prevent Covid would do so. I also learned that 58 deaths reported to be from Covid can completely shutter Thailand, wreck its economy while Thai road death toll tops 12,000 in 2019 is not a problem. I learned that purchasing groceries at the supermarket or materials at a hardware store does not spread the disease but purchasing alcohol at the same supermarket can dramatically spread the disease. I learned that tourists to Thailand have about a 1 in 300,000 chance of dying while in Thailand but a 1 in 1.6 million chance of dying from Covid in Thailand. Bottom line, never underestimate the over reaction and stupid responses of people when hysteria sets in.
