Is that $100,000 general health insurance or specifically for COVID-19 treatment? I thought it was the latter, but this article suggests otherwise:

 

"...health insurance with a minimum coverage of $100,000, including coverage for COVID-19".

 

People over 50 will have to spend a lot to return here. My health insurance costs me 45,000 per year, and it only covers 500,000 baht (in-patient treatment only; they appear to want about six times that...

In the cold war era, everyone on the "other" side of the wall needed a permission to leave the country, over 400 million people!
