O-A visa marriage extension.

Went to Chiang Mai Immigration on Thursday and done marriage extension for first time.

Couldn't beleive how helpful staff were, the process was easy.

Called in week before and picked up the latest  list of requirements. 2 copies of everything main thing you must do.

Was on retirement extension but changed to marriage due to insurance not available to me.

Already had 800k in bank fixed deposit so that made it easy with the bank letter.

Was going to change to O Visa but IO last year advised me to just change extension on my O-A Visa.

Very helpful staff.

OP, you mentioned fixed term money.

Did you need make deposit into account to show activity.

They usually require a deposit on the day or day before to update the bank book.

Easy enough with a fixed deposit acc.

No deposits in 5 years. They only interested the money there as requested by their terms.

I could draw out to 4ook if I wished. Keep extra there incase medical ect ever needed.

Don't need make deposit on day. Kasikorn bank updates the balance when they give you letter and statement.
