The thai economy has performed quite well since Khun Prayut Chan O Cha took the reigns.

GDP increased yearly as did government spending on infrastructure which created 1000's of jobs.

The facts speak for themselves ....

has voiced his readiness to accept any decision made by Prime Minister and Defense Minister, Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha,

Even lap dogs would find his lack of concern and opinion alarming.  Sadly, he is a part of the buffoonery.  Business as usual.   Citizen's future is in disarray due to business as usual.

Yes, that is for the super rich, one percent.   The job market for the average Thai was bad before the virus.  The number of farangs working in Thailand has also plummeted.   Not much to cheer about.

Have to agree. In a way the economy actually could be put on autopilot or have a monkey in control and do the same based on tourism and exports. As for the average Thai, they are so up to their eyeballs in debt and unless mistaken it has never been so high like this before. And the virus has nothing to do with this metastasizing like a cancerous financial citizen crisis.

Typo again. Meant to be :

he believed the Prime Minister will make his decisions based on the best interests of his cronies.

My thought as well, but slightly more refined:- "the best interests of the "establishment"!

Just hoping that Anutin is put on the back burner.

Hopefully with it lit.

A change at the tourism and sports helm would be handy, too. In these dark times we need someone who might resurrect the Durian Kit-Kat ideas.
