johnmell
Just looking at options if i have to go back to the UK from Thailand.Apparentely if you cant give an address you are staying at Border Control give you booking options at your own expense.Anybody done this, or can give some details of what these entail? Many thanks
CLS
Cannot answer your question directly. But one option might be to make a 14-day stopover in a Schengen country. No quarantine required.
Trillian
I hope the IO's at the ports of entry are wise to this con and if a temporary stopover was within the isolation period that they are still isolated upon arrival, otherwise it defeats the whole purpose....how would we feel here in Thailand if say Chinese people transited another country, just to gain access, I for one wouldn't be real happy. tribalfusion001
When I landed back at LHR on 25th March, there was a guy with a leaflet saying about self quarantine for 14 days if coming back from Thailand. Apparently it hasn't changed, just walk straight through and self scan passport. I did read only two people were challenged during the bodged quarantine period in June, don't ask me for link, I read too many articles lol.
