Play from the yellow tees.

Never an easy course, many uneven fairway lies.

Overall in good condition and worth a visit.

You're the ideal age for senior competition here. I'd like to see a new competition class for over-70's.

I don't have a handicap now, I'd say at a guess it would be 10 - 12 off the reds on longer courses, lower on short courses. Still living in hope of breaking my age, have been one shot away.

Matchplay is my preferred format but you never see it in competitions, we do play it every week in our 3/4/5 ball. I preferred when I played in the scratch team in UK, no one gets shots so no artificially high handicaps to try and beat

Agree, we had what is called pennant in Melbourne, match play between clubs of a team of 7 players, no handicaps. Played junior pennant and club  pennant for more than 50 years.

As Freddie Tait said: " Match play's the thing. Stroke play's no better than rifle shooting".
