Two dogs were seen jumping off the fourth floor of a building at 1am on Thursday (July 16), prompting speculation on social media about whether the animals were being seriously abused.

Footage of the incident near the Pak Nam Pho Rama Theatre in Nakhon Sawan posted on Facebook showed the first dog dying as soon as his body hits the ground, while the other is saved by electric cabs and is seen running off.

Many netizens said this behaviour was very unlike dogs, while some pointed out that the dogs could be heard screaming before jumping, which means something terrified them.

In my opinion most Thais don,t know what it means to take responsibility, being owner of an animal and actually caring about the animal welfare.

Partially dogs are still seen as a food source. Even visiting a Zoo might not be a pleasant experience if you are sensitive to it.

But the witnesses saw no-one else?
