(not sure whether this has been reported already)

I received a Thai Airways newsletter with the surprising news that TG will do three flights to London (LHR) in August.

Sale starts today.

I can't find a web version of the newsletter but only this website:

Also believe TG is operating repat flights NRT-BKK (cnx for Thais from the U.S.), so one can fly BKK-NRT AFAIK.

Direct non-stop service BKK-LHR is a bit rare these days (maybe weekly service on BR?), and Non-stop service is always more expensive.

There is a lot of one-stop service to LHR.

Bargain holidays in Thailand this year then - 25000 for a one way flight, 40,000 quarantine, multiple trips to the doctors for certs and notes and this is before  any hotel price hikes to get some money back.

Think I'll let Thailand stew in its own madness for a while longer

  • Thanks 1

BA are still operating into BKK. Three flights a week at the moment.

Nothing showing on their website - only an indirect flight via Hong Kong on a Sunday.  Final leg to BKK is with Ethiopian Airlines.

BA 9 https://www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/g-zbjc

is in flight now, due at SBIA/BKK ~ 09:50. Classified as a "position flight". Assume it's got Thai/approved repats.

No clue what's up with that equiment? BA 10 shows as cancelled, maybe it departs to another destination, or waits to return to LHR?

It looks like that metal turned at BKK as it is in flight to LHR as BA 10 presently.

Similar flights for Frankfurt but only if you choice THai airways facebook in Thai language. Just two flights in August. No mention of it on the European website or facebook of Thai airways. If you look on the Thai website and translate you'll find additional information about entering Germany. The next is meant for Thai people. A bit strange regarding how difficult it is for Thais right now to fly back. Seems to me that Thai airways is doing one thing and the government a complete differet policy. Makes no sense.

No idea why they don't sell the seats on BA.COM ? The BA dreamliner has been a regular flight. Always on the same days.466570820_ScreenShot2020-07-26at21_56_56.png.2348113b34c52f5d0cecb29bc46be6bf.png

.....and totally inflexible. Another cr@p offer from THAI.

Others do better  KLM still have low priced single flights (those who fly in with cargo and out BKK with passengers  just before midnight departure , not the usual departure flights hours …)  So "no flights excuse" is a lie !

You mean BKK-LHR? Right?

No clue, you're searching for a one-way flight?

Maybe contact BA directly, check their FB page, contact the British embassy.

They (ba dot com) are selling connections through HKG on CX or ET and HKG-LHR on BA, for as litle as 9,930 17,000 all in THB.
