libya 115 Posted April 23, 2007 Share Posted April 23, 2007 SOURCE: Pattaya City News: April 21st 2007 Thai Woman Murdered in Soi Beokeow. A case of suspected murder now from Central Pattaya. Pattaya Police were called to building number 111/84-85 in Soi Beokeow after reports that a body had been discovered on the Fifth Floor had been received. Police arrived and inspected the body of Khun Antisar aged 28 who had remained undiscovered for at least 2 days. A plastic bag had been taped over her head and the room showed evidence of a violent struggle. Neighbors mentioned seeing the victim at around 8pm on 19th but not since then. No other signs of visible trauma were found. Police are now investigating any possible motives behind this apparent murder but currently have few clues as to the identity of the killer. Ms Antisar ( 28), a Thai national ,who was the suspected victim of murder , remained undiscovered in Soi Buakhao, Central Pattaya for over two days. When the body was eventually discovered on the Fifth Floor in a condo building in Soi Bua-khao, a concerned individual notified the Pattaya Constabulary. The police duly arrived and investigated the crime scene. The room was in disarray, with clear signs of violence. The victim had had a plastic bag taped over her head and there was evidence of a struggle. The last time anyone had seen Ms Antisar was in the vicinity of 8 pm on 19th April. Police are currently investigating all possible motives behind this assumed murder, but few clues regarding the killer’s identity have been forthcoming. libya 115 Posted May 9, 2007 Author Share Posted May 9, 2007 ******NEWS******UPDATE****** SOURCE: Pattaya People: May 9th 2007 Press Conference on Murder Case A Press conference was made at Pattaya Police Station on 8th May about the capture of the man who brutally killed his girlfriend in April 2007, he was on the run but still residing around Pattaya. On 21st April the Pattaya Police found the body of 28 year old Miss Anchisa Phochaisriin in a rented room in Soi Buakhao. Since the discovery of her body, the Pattaya and Provincial Police have investigated this case which received a lot of interest from the public and Media. At 6 am on 7th May the Pattaya Police tracked down the killer and arrested him. At the Press conference it was found that the killer, 19 year old Amnart Chotphromrat from Nakhon Ratchasima province was the woman’s boyfriend. They had cohabited as husband and wife for 2 years. At the time Amnart was a DJ at a pub in Pattaya Land Soi 1. Amnart stated that the deceased wanted to end their relationship because he was having affairs with other women (a butterfly) and he refused to quit. When he caught her having an affair, he got jealous and decided to kill her by strangling her, which he did then ran off with her savings and belongings.
