Marcous
I went to check last week if the trail was open, it's all shielded off. I asked the man in the box (at the exit of the zoo I think) if he knew when it would be open again, he didn't. I thought the temples and national forests were all open again, no? Does anyone have any idea when it will be open again? It's a nice trek, second half, after Wat Pha Lat is a bit of a challenge though, very steep. It's a proven fact that SARS-Cov2 lurks in jungles (and infinity pools) and waits on the sides of trails (or under the surface of the water) until unsuspecting farangs happen by and then - BAM! Ventilator! Then the Thais will be clamouring to kick all farang out of Chiang Mai -- just because BritManToo crawled under the rope. <Gasp> "How dare you!"

The path starts off as a nondescript path up to the Left of the Falls As we had not even been looking for Signs - the path experience was quite a surprise! In the 'pool' pic, we are looking downwards back towards the 'crevice' path. The 'shed' to the Right is a small Shrine. The Monks in the opposite 'uphill' direction, disappear into the bushes... On the Lower Tier Carpark area has a selection of 'cafes' Good for a decent sit down lunch of typical dishes
Captain Monday
Hill walking spreads viruses? What if if solo small socially distanced groups, or members of same family living together?
