My wife hired a welder. I offered him a proper welding mask, but he refused to use it. He welded a gate on, but it fell off the next day.

He was only a Welder by name ,Not as in Trade.   ????  

My Gates are still hanging same as when they were put up . But he used a Welding mask and was a welder by trade.
