Bangkok: Pattaya police get 8 kilos of "ice" and some small fry - but the big fish gets away!

A Pattaya police drugs' sting conducted in Bangkok was less than 100% successful. 

 

They did manage to get 8 kilos of "ice" (crystal meth) worth more than a million baht. 

 

But their hopes of landing a big drug distributor now rest on securing a warrant and making a subsequent arrest.

 

The Pattaya cops had been investigating the activities of a cock-fighting farm owner called "Bangmoocha" who has been running drugs in Bangkok and Chonburi, reported 77khaoded. 

 

A sting was set up in Bangkok in  Ramkhamhaeng Soi 118, sub-soi 46 to buy 8 kilos of the drugs. 

 

However, the big fish sent a fall guy - 26 year old Preecha. He was arrested and his Yamaha X-Max was seized. 

 

Now the Pattaya police will use evidence gathered to issue an arrest warrant for the man they thought they were going to arrest.

the 'real' big fish love this, 8 kilos is like a grain of sand on the beach. Every publicized bust just increases demand and justifies higher prices - simple equation - the more law enforcement = more money in their pockets lol..

By keeping the details of the ‘sting’ on a need to know basis only so that the ‘big fish’ doesn’t get tipped off !!!!!
