After the success of the first official Apple Store in Thailand at Iconsiam, which opened in November 2018, the tech giant is now set to open a second, larger store at Central World in Bangkok’s Pathumwan district.

Apple Central World is scheduled to open at 10am tomorrow (July 31).

Customers need to make an appointment via https://www.apple.com/th/retail/centralworld/ as the store has limits on the number of people allowed to enter to adhere to social distancing rules in this Covid-19 situation. All customers and staff must also undergo thermal screening and wear a face mask before entering.

Apple Central World features an all-glass design under a giant tree canopy accented by stainless-steel spiral staircases that present a futuristic look and serve as a link between its three levels. Thanks to the large space, it also offers several bench seats for customers to sit on and relax, as well as a boardroom and a “forum stage” for music performances and other activities.

The store has a “crew of 130 staff to serve customers in 17 languages”, according to the company.

Who cares?

I hate Apple and everything they make, produce, promote.

Many phones out there at 1/4 th the cost or less.

But hey, follow the herd. All seems very stupid.

It's not about hardware. It's about software. And Android is just about the most insecure OS ever created. Do put your mobile banking app on, especially if your phone is a cheap Chinese one that never got patching and OS update, preferably still on KitKat. It'll cost you a lot more than a new top end iPhone.

It is not.

So, your post is meaningless.

Generally (unless your phone is Google Pixel or has stock Android) it takes 1-1.5 years on average to patch vulnerabilities. This is for last month, but you can go all the way back to beginning of 2019 for list of everything that can compromise your phone:

Unfortunately I need to use it every day. But then again, it's improving with mandatory updates and hotfixes. Android's weakness is customisation by the phone vendors, where few bother to patch anything. Google and Apple are in major advantage over others as they have quick updates to found vulnerabilities. As such it's nothing wrong with Android itself. Problem is in how phone vendors maintain (or rather not maintain) it.

'improving with mandatory updates and hotfixes'

Microsoft have been wheeling out this line for the last 25 years and yet it is still as leaky as a sieve. Admittedly, a slightly smaller sieve nowadays...

Stadtler only uses Apple products because Stadtler is provided with computers and phones free of charge in return for Stadtler's honest reviews online.

Tim Cook couldn't honestly admit that China steals business secrets and technology from the United States.

Tim Cook is a loathsome creature.

It's amazing how much free advertising Apple gets because of a new store.

Wow, a new store, how amazing...

Will every new shop get a long article like this with many pictures. Or only shops with overpriced items and fans who just buy anything from that brand?

This is why Stadtler will never give them a dime.

Tim Cook, the loathsome creature who heads Apple could not admit the Chinese Communists steal technology and IP from around the world.  China obviously has Cook on a short leash like the dog he is.

Amazing the hate Apple gets.

I am sure they don't really care as they sell all they can make, so there is some love coming from some where......

Full disclosure:  I am looking at 2 iphone 7 on my desk at office and have another 4 - 5 apple products at home with wife and kids.
