Popular Post webfact
Court finds anti-coup activist innocent By The Nation Sombat Boongamanong The court has dropped charges against Sombat Boongamanong, an anti-coup activist, who allegedly violated Section 116 of the Criminal Code and the Computer Crime Act by posting messages against the 2014 coup. These messages were posted between May 30 and June 4, 2015, when martial law was in effect and criticising the government was illegal. Though Sombat posted several messages undermining the then-National Council for Peace and Order and encouraging people to protest against it, the court did not find the messages an instigation to disturb national peace and said his messages initiated no political movement. Sombat was previously a red-shirt leader and was once put behind bars. holy cow cm
Do you think they are trying to not stir the protest caulderon by giving him not guilty? Maybe the last kidnaping and disappearance now presumed to be dead activist and then adding a guilty would be fuel to the fire? I would bet they will find a way to harass him another way outside of being jailed or given cement shoes.. Popular Post rkidlad
You know you're living in the opposite of a democracy when you have to be cleared for calling an illegal activity an "illegal activity".

Caldera
Good. Staging a coup should be illegal, not protesting against one.
